Introduction About: 
Job Roles are used to properly address your contacts e.g. Mr. or Mrs.  Job roles can be selected from Contact Full Name fields usually found in the Contact detail form and Contact tabs.

 

Terminology Steps:

Define Contact Job Roles
  1. Go to the System Manager module.
  2. Select Job Roles under the Contact Setup menu. The Job Role setup form will display.
  3. Click New button to add a new line.
  4. Enter the job role, e.g. Sir in the Job Role column.
  5. Check the Active checkbox.
  6. Save the details before closing the Job Role setup form.

 

How To How To:

ShowInactivate a contact job role

  1. In the Job Role setup form, select the job role.
  2. Uncheck the Active checkbox to inactivate the job role.
  3. Save the details before closing the Job Role setup form.

 

ShowDelete a contact job role

Note that contact job roles that were assigned to contacts cannot be deleted.

  1. In the Job role setup form, select the job role.
  2. Click on the Delete button from the toolbar menu.
  3. Choose Yes in the prompt to delete.
