Introduction About: 
Suffixes are used to distinguish people that may have the same name. e.g.  Jr. and III.

 

Terminology Steps:

Define Contact Suffixes

  1. Go to the System Manager module.
  2. Select Suffix under the Contact Setup menu. The Suffix setup form will display.
  3. Click New button to add a new line.
  4. Enter the salutation, e.g. Jr. in the Suffix column.
  5. Check the Active checkbox.
  6. Save the details before closing the Suffix setup form.

 

How To How To:

ShowInactivate a contact suffix

  1. In the Suffix setup form, select the salutation.
  2. Uncheck the Active checkbox to inactivate the suffix.
  3. Save the details before closing the Suffix setup form.

 

ShowDelete a contact suffix

Note that contact suffixes that were assigned to contacts cannot be deleted.

  1. In the Suffix setup form, select the suffix.
  2. Click on the Delete button from the toolbar menu.
  3. Choose Yes in the prompt to delete.
