About:
Leads are the likely people or organizations that you have information of and that are yet to look into the products or services you are offering. You can easily add lead details through the New Lead option of the CRM module or through the Import Wizard.
Tip:
Instead of setting up each lead using
the Lead detail form, you can also use the Import Wizard to import
your existing lead file (in excel format) into Interprise Suite.

Steps:
Create New Lead

Select Lead under the New menu of the CRM module or the Lead icon in the CRM Workflow dashboard. The Lead detail form will display.

Enter the Lead Name and Contact Name as these are required information.

Enter Address, Phone, Fax or Mobile number, Email or Web Address if available.

In the Assigned To field, the default user displayed is the user currently setting up the new lead. You can assign the lead to another user. You can assign the user team in the Team field.

You may add miscellaneous details about the lead contact such as Business Title, Job Role, and Department details. To view the Job Role field, click on the arrow button beside the Business Title field.

In the Wave field, you may you may select a related campaign wave. In the Source field, you may select your source or means on how you got the lead information. To view the Wave field, click on the arrow button beside the Source field and select Wave.

In the Details section, enter as much information that you know about the lead. Note: You may expand the Details section by clicking on the Zoom button in the upper right of the Details section.

In the Activities tab, you can record and maintain lead activities. See Also: Working with CRM Module > Schedule and Manage Activities

Save the details before closing the form.

You may convert the lead instantly into prospect or customer by clicking on the option, Convert Lead. See Also: Working with Customer Module > Manage Leads.

Inactivate a lead Leads that would not follow up on can be set to inactive status.
- Select Lead under the Find menu of the CRM module. A search list of active and inactive leads will display.
- Select the lead record to display the Lead detail form.
- Uncheck the Active checkbox to set the lead status to inactive.
- Save the details before closing the Lead detail form.
Note that leads that are linked to other records such as activities or waves cannot be deleted.
- Select Lead under the Find menu of the CRM module. A search list of active and inactive leads will display.
- Select the lead record to display the Lead detail form.
- Click on the Delete button from the toolbar menu.
- Choose Yes in the prompt to delete.
