About:
Relationship Types are used to indicate the relationship of one entity to another.
Steps:
Define Relationship Types
- Go to the System Manager module.
- Select Relationship Type under the Maintain menu. The Relationship Type setup form is displayed.
- Click New button to add a new line.
- Enter source e.g. Partner in the Relationship Type column.
- Click the Active checkbox.
- Save the details before closing the Relationship Type setup form.

Inactivate a
relationship type
- In the Relationship Type setup form, select the relationship type in the list.
- Uncheck the Active checkbox.
- Save the details before closing the Relationship Type setup form.
Note that relationship types that are not assigned to any customer or supplier relationship may be deleted.
- In the Relationship Type setup form, select the relationship type to delete.
- Click on the Delete option in the toolbar menu.
- Choose Yes in the prompt to delete.
